1967 Land Rover Series 2a 88" 2.25P

We are pleased to be able to offer this lovely Series 2a Land Rover. Full of character and charm. Having recently been fully rebuilt, with a portfolio of photographs detailing its build. This car is available as a canvas soft and also comes with its original hard-top and safari rear door.

During it's current owners time the car has had a a new hood stick set and canvas hood with the option of side windows along with a new drop down tailgate. it also benefits from a new "Clayton heater" a modern recreation of the original Smiths heaters of the Land Rover early years. The Clayton heater is more powerfull and efficient than the original heaters. As well as giving warm blown air to the occuptants, it is also ducted to the windscreen to help demist the screen on wintery mornings.

The front seats are Defender front seats trimmed with Exmoor trim sand canvas to match the hood. The Defender seats whilst modern, keep the orinial look whilst giving more flexible seat positions with forward/back and tilt/recline adjustment.

The 2.25 petrol engine is sweet and drives well, along with a good original 4 speed gearbox.

This is a truly lovely car to drive and enjoy.
